Awards from the NSTC College/University Student Research Project Grant Program

We were granted two student research projects on telomere research!

Lily’s project will investigate the role of the RNA-binding protein CCDC86 in telomere replication.

Li-Mei’s project will explore the mechanism by which the nucleolar protein REXO4 influences telomere replication.

Looking forward to uncovering more science at the interface of telomeres and nucleoli!
